We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel ready to join our adventure and share our ambition.
What you will be doing?
- You will assist management, business and operational teams with legal support on a wide variety of topics, including product, corporate and regulatory housekeeping, dealing with requests of regulators, keeping oversight of new regulatory developments for our group functions and headquarters in Brussels/Warsaw and legal project management.Â
- You will help structuring product offer and cooperation with our Banking as a Service Partners, prepare terms and conditions with clients and agreements with BaaS Partners and suppliers, review and prepare internal policies terms and conditions  and procedures.Â
- You will respond and support internal teams with legal advice and support and prepare requested legal opinions.
- You will provide advice, guidance and insight to staff regarding new/emerging legal issues,Â
- You will work closely with a small team of savvy lawyers
Skills you should have
- A Master’s degree in Law, Legal Counsel
- You preferably have 3 years of experience in financial services (bank, electronic money institution, financial supervisory authority, white label banking service provider) or at a law firm servicing financial institutions, with strong focus on payments and credit,
- You have good project management skills
- You like working with people in multidisciplinary teams with diverse backgrounds
- You have a good knowledge of basic regulatory, legal and compliance aspects of financial services and know how to sort out the details
- You have a genuine interest in latest trends and regulatory aspects of digital banking and are passionate about innovation in financial services, digital banking, technology and fintech,
- Strong command of English
