We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal &Compliance Team at Flow Control Business Line where you would be working closely with and reporting to Vice President, Head of Legal & Compliance. This position will be located in Madrid, Spain.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing overall legal support to Flow Control Business Line in its operations particularly in Europe but also in Middle East, Africa and India
- Developing and implementing legal policies and governance aligned with business objectives, as well as helping local management in Madrid with any corporate matters
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and business partners
- Serving as a trusted business partner and handling complex legal activities independently
- Delivering legal trainings to Flow Control Business Line colleagues
- Managing disputes and litigation
Candidate requirements:
- Master’s degree in law (LL.M.)
- 3-5 years of commercial and contract law experience as an in-house counsel or as an associate in a law firm
- Aspiration to make legal function a true business partner, enabling business growth
- Mindset that enjoys continuous self-development and being part of a Legal Team that every day strives to be 1% better than the day before
- Willingness to assume independent responsibilities for corporate and commercial legal matters
- Professional level of written and spoken English and Spanish
- Strong negotiation, cooperation, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel
