Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Asker, Norway. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a lawyer in an innovative global technology focused company committed to sustainability and the environment. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal advice and support to various business units within our organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel, advise and support on a wide range of commercial matters to diverse business units in the global TOMRA organisation.
  • Identify and manage legal risks and contribute to developing the internal legal governance structure.
  • Provide training and guiding to local management and organisation.
  • Manage and liaise with external counsel.
  • Contribute to the general activities of TOMRA Legal

In this role you will obtain insight into the operations of a global organisation and assist TOMRA in protecting and offering its technology and solutions as part of its expansion to new markets, including involvement in various projects, initiatives, and different contract types and business models.

Qualifications

  • Master of Law with solid academic credentials
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience from commercial legal work gained at a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international company
  • Experience with commercial contracts, IP, digital service offering, and general business law
  • Admitted to the bar with all necessary practicing certificates
  • Proficiency in Norwegian and English is required. Additional languages are considered beneficial
