Do you want to be part of the legal team as an in-house lawyer and support the different business units of Red Bull in the interesting and fast developing area of (digital) media with a strong focus on media regulatory issues on a global scale?

In this exciting role, you'll set-up and advise various legal projects and work together with other legal team members on supporting different business units within the field of media regulatory e.g. for Red Bull TV as well our numerous digital platforms such as websites and apps. Additionally, you'll be responsible for negotiating contracts with a focus on civil law, copyright law and telecommunication services law.

Job Description

LEGAL CENTER OF EXPERTISE

In this role, you'll be part of one of our legal centres of excellence. You'll build and maintain an in-depth insight into a variety of exciting media regulatory projects across the firm. Your focus will be on advising on audiovisual media regulation, including advertising, product placement, protection of minors, etc., as well as accessibility law, e-commerce law and related areas. Together with your team, you'll draft legal guidelines and legal risk assessments and work closely with other business units as part of larger project groups.

CONTRACT REVIEW AND NEGOTIATIONS

You'll review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with a focus on digital business models and strategic collaborations with international telecommunications partners. You assess legal and commercial risks and provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions that support the global growth of our businesses.

TEMPLATES AND PROCESSES

You'll be responsible for the drafting and reviewing of legal guidelines, legal presentations, contractual templates, T&C and other legal documents.

You'll further support the implementation of legal processes for our business units to ensure compliance with new legal developments and specifications/trends for the field of media regulatory.

Qualifications

Min. 3 years relevant working experience within media law-related topics and related legal areas such as telecommunication and digital laws, e-commerce, accessibility law etc.

Law degree: European law degree; if German law degree, I. and II. State Exam (β€œVolljurist”), Post-graduate degree (e.g. LL.M) is of advantage

Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)

Profound knowledge in civil law and a keen sense of legal contexts

Interest and ability to analyze new legal developments

Ability and interest in setting up and coordinating legal projects

Proactive approach and solution-driven attitude

Independent, well-structured and precise way of working

Highly motivated and resilient character

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,303 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
