JOIN OUR TEAM
As (Senior) Legal & Compliance Counsel, you will join our global Legal team and report directly to the Group General Counsel at our Munich headquarters. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will act as the key legal point of contact for Poland and other Eastern European countries where Westwing operates. You’ll be working in a dynamic, international e-commerce environment characterised by agility, flat hierarchies and real ownership. This position is unlimited and based in Robakowo (Poznań area) or Warsaw.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- act as the main legal and compliance contact for Poland and selected Eastern European markets
- draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts in both Polish and English
- support legal aspects of strategic projects (market entry, B2B growth, warehouse lease topics, corporate restructuring)
- ensure legally compliant data protection processes in cooperation with our external Data Protection Officer monitor and communicate regulatory changes relevant to business operations (Poland and selected Eastern European markets)
- manage local litigation, corporate documents, and relationships with external counsel and authorities
- conduct compliance trainings, support whistleblowing procedures and policy localisation
- contribute to improving legal workflows and documentation through digital tools and legal tech initiatives
YOU COME WITH
- full legal qualification in Poland and strong academic credentials
- minimum 4 years of experience in an in-house legal role; experience in an international law firm is a plus
- fluency in both Polish and English (written and spoken); relevant additional languages are a plus
- solid knowledge of commercial, civil and data protection law
- ability to provide clear, actionable legal advice tailored to business needs
- a proactive, organised working style and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- enthusiasm for legal tech, automation, and efficient legal operations
