For our internationally operating client we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with experience in US law. The office is located in Berlin, but the company also offers remote work. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on solutions in a global environment by bringing proven experience in leading legal projects on an international level. Our client employs over 1000 people and manages to create an environment of tolerance and equality on a daily basis.
Your responsibilities:
- Counsel the Management and C-Level and the international locations on commercial and regulatory issues
- Takeover of projects in corporate matters, securities law and financial regulations
- Support of the implementation of new acquisitions
- Person of contact regarding corporate governance issues and listing standards
- Liaising with external legal advisors and managing the legal budget
- Drafting and reviewing reports of the company
- Responsibility for special projects, including high-value strategic partnerships and commercial transactions
Voraussetzungen
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an international law firm
- Fully qualified lawyer with two state examinations
- Knowledge of US securities laws and SEC reporting
- Fluency in the English language and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and intercultural competence
