About your future role
As Senior Legal Counsel in the Group Unit Support and Corporate/ M&A team, you will be part of a collaborative environment with a relaxed atmosphere emphasizing teamwork and knowledge sharing. Group Unit Support and Corporate/ M&A team consists of 5 attorney-at-laws/legal advisers all located in Ballerup being part of Legal Nordic & DACH which consists of 20 attorney-at-laws/legal advisers located across 5 jurisdictions. The position is in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen area.ย 

In the Group Unit Support and Corporate/ M&A team, we contribute to Nets/Nexiโ€™s strategic activities and offer professional legal advice to the business and group units concerning the day-to-day operations as well as special projects. Your key responsibilities will be to provide legal support to group units such as Technology and Procurement primarily on larger contracts. Your legal support will mostly be about drafting/negotiating contracts and advising on contractual-related matters and dispute handling. You will be the trusted adviser for the business and be expected to be able to navigate both complex IT agreements and more simple supplier contracts. For the candidate with corporate law and/or M&A experience, you will be responsible for advising on corporate law and M&A-related matters, as well.ย 

Qualifications needed:

  • Experience as an attorney from a law firm and/or an internal legal departmentย 
  • Strong communicative competencies and negotiation skills
  • Experience with drafting and negotiating complex contracts
  • Mastery of English for negotiation purposes, in writing and orally
  • Experience with financial services will be an advantage
  • Experience with corporate law and/or M&A will be an advantage
