🔑 Your Responsibilities:
• Legal Leadership: Oversee all legal functions of the firm, from daily operations to long-term strategic planning and legal decision-making.
• Team & Partner Oversight: Lead a legal team of three and manage collaborations with five external law firms, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the firm remains compliant with legal standards across multiple jurisdictions (Germany, Cyprus, Austria, Lithuania), while proactively managing legal risks.
• Strategic Legal Advisory: Support the executive team on governance, finance, M&A, digital asset regulation, and other key legal matters.
• Dispute & Litigation Management: Serve as the go-to for dispute resolution, managing external legal counsel and resolving complex legal challenges.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with regulators, investors, partners, and internal departments to safeguard the firm’s legal standing.
• Contract Management: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of high-value contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
👤 Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Legal Operations Expertise: Solid experience in legal leadership, especially within finance, fintech, or digital asset sectors.
• Multi-Jurisdictional Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory environments in countries like Germany, Cyprus, Austria, and Lithuania.
• Risk & Compliance Background: Extensive experience with legal risk, regulatory compliance, and financial/digital asset legislation.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated success managing internal legal teams and coordinating with external firms.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: A pragmatic, solution-driven approach to navigating complex legal landscapes.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders across the board.
