Metlen Energy & Metals is currently looking for a Legal Counsel with experience in energy sector to join its Legal Division.

Your role will encompass:  

• Providing timely legal advice and support in addressing legal matters concerning the energy management and integrated supply and trading business of the company
• Drafting of commercial contracts in the Greek and English language, including various types of energy contracts (e.g. power purchase agreements, aggregation agreements, trading agreements, gas supply agreements, parts and services agreements)
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance of the company’ s activity with the current legislative and regulatory energy framework
• Checking compliance with a specific energy regulatory framework
• Systematization of basic templates of conventional texts & their updating

What you bring to the role: 

• Qualified as an attorney-at-law in Greece
• 6-8 years working experience as a lawyer. A relevant experience in energy sector will be appreciated
• A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the field of civil law and/ or commercial law and/ or energy law
• Thorough analytical and drafting skills in complex contracts & advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English language
• Advanced communication skills, willing attitude and team-work spirit
