Legal Counsel

FIRST. Best in Sports is a B2B company that provides a SaaS (software as a service) solution for online sports platforms. Our systems process more than 3 billion messages every day to provide our clients with the most accurate and consistent sports data.

We are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to provide legal support across various business functions. The role includes reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and advising on corporate and commercial matters. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of corporate law.

What would be your main responsibilities? 

• Ensuring the company's adherence to all applicable Online Gaming regulations, laws, and licensing requirements in various jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of agreements with game providers, payment service providers, and other third parties, while maintaining systematic contract management.
• Research and stay updated on developments in regulatory online gambling regimes worldwide and in jurisdictions where the company holds licenses.
• Handle various operational topics within the company, manage external legal services, and oversee related activities.

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of experience as a lawyer/legal counsel
• Experience in Online Gaming will be considered an advantage.
• Good command of the English language, written and spoken .
• Good knowledge of corporate and commercial law
• Experience working with international licensing bodies in terms of obtaining Online Gaming/EMI/Banking licenses will be considered an advantage.
• Multitasking, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with a large amount of information.
• Ability to work independently.
