Legal Counsel

• Advising the sales team on commercial law related topics with a focus on contract law issues in general as well as on special legal topics, such as product liability 
• Drafting and reviewing sales / supply contracts under European jurisdictions. 
• Supporting with legal disputes.
• Further development and drafting of standard contracts, developing processes and structures for the European organization of JA Solar.
• Train the sales team on international commercial contract law.
• Regional focus: Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

• Fully qualified German lawyer (m/f/d).
• Around 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience as in-house counsel in a multinational company, or in an international law firm, ideally in the field of renewable energy.
• Strong business focus and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of communicating complex issues in an easily understandable way.
• Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics of a global corporate environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English and German; other European language a plus.

• Confident appearance, self-reliance, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, strong communication skills and intercultural competence, team spirit.
