Join Virtuozzo as Legal Counsel – Based in Bulgaria/RemoteÂ
Virtuozzo, a global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions, is looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join our team. This is a high-impact role supporting our business operations while one of our team members is on maternity leave.Â
You’ll report directly to the CFO and collaborate with commercial, corporate, and operational teams across the region. We’re seeking a legal generalist with strong experience in privacy and data protection who enjoys solving diverse legal challenges in a fast-paced tech environment.

What You’ll Be DoingÂ
- Legal support of company’s data protection and privacy compliance framework, including:   Â
- Support and monitoring of data privacy compliance at Virtuozzo, including GDPR compliance;Â Â Â
- Drafting necessary policies for data privacy compliance, working with the company management on implementation of the policies into the existing business processes;Â Â Â
- Drafting and negotiation with customers of data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses;Â Â Â
- Keeping of records of processing for personal data for Virtuozzo group companies;Â Â
- Taking part in various audits and due diligence in relation to data privacy;Â Â Â Â
- Working as part of the privacy team for the purpose of implementing privacy by design and by default principles;Â Â
- Working on data transfer impact assessments for Virtuozzo group companies as well as for third-party service providers;Â Â Â
- Legal support of contracts workflow within the company, review, legal analysis and negotiation of various agreements (supply, services/works provision, intellectual property rights related agreements, license agreements, distribution agreements etc.);Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Legal due diligence and further support of company contracts database in electronic format and on hard copies;Â Â Â
- Monitoring the Company's compliance with corporate procedures and internal regulations;Â Â Â
- Legal support of the company compliance processes, including sanction compliance etc.;Â Â Â
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager/ Senior Management. Â
What You BringÂ
- Law degree obtained from a leading law school;Â Â
- Strong knowledge of business and international law, IT IP law, data privacy regulation in Europe;Â Â
- 2+ year of work experience as a lawyer within a law firm with IP IT specialization or as in-house lawyer in IT company;Â Â
- Proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure. Â
