THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a technology services firm based in Zürich. The successful candidate will support the legal team with a wide range of commercial contracts and data protection matters, working closely with the sales team to facilitate business transactions. Fluency in both German and English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and negotiate various commercial contracts, including outsourcing, procurement, IT, and licensing agreements, as well as data protection agreements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals, identify legal risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations, including GDPR.
- Qualified lawyer (Swiss-qualified preferred) with at least 3 years of in-house legal experience in an internationally operating organization, ideally in the technology services industry.
- Strong expertise in contract law, with a focus on IT law, as well data protection.
- Excellent command of German and fluency in English.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to making an impact.
