We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic
legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the gambling industry to play a key role in supporting and shaping our global operations.
Location: Limassol, Cyprus (Relocation support provided)
Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters related to gambling regulations, licensing, compliance, and operations
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including those with B2B and B2C partners, software providers, affiliates, and marketing agencies etc.
Legal support of various transactions in respect of acquisitions and/or alienations of businesses and/or assets, including legal due diligence procedures and preparation of
various documentation related to such transactions (MoUs, NDAs, SPA, SHAs, call
option agreements etc.)
Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions, ensuring compliance across all business activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including compliance, finance, marketing, product, and tech teams
Manage relationships with external legal advisors as needed
Due Diligence of the project
Assist with risk management and dispute resolution related to the gambling sector
Law degree from a recognized institution and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
At least 3 years of legal experience specifically within the gambling industry (in-house or at a law firm)
Deep understanding of gambling regulations and frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
Experience in corporate and tax structuring, including legal due diligence procedures
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and regulated environment
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Experience working in an international setting
Knowledge of IP, data protection (e.g., GDPR)
Prior experience supporting digital/online gaming products
