Responsibilities

    • Provide Expert Legal Counsel on Contractual Matters: Act as the primary legal advisor to internal stakeholders on all aspects of commercial contracts, offering pragmatic and solution-oriented guidance on terms, risks, and compliance.
    • Identify and Mitigate Contractual Risks: Proactively identify, analyze, and advise on legal and commercial risks within contracts, developing and implementing strategies to effectively mitigate these risks and protect company interests.
    • Ensure Contractual Compliance: Guarantee that all contractual agreements adhere to applicable laws, regulations (including data privacy where relevant), and internal corporate policies.
    • Develop and Maintain Contractual Standards: Create, refine, and manage standard contract templates, clauses, and legal playbooks to improve efficiency, consistency, and legal protection across the organization.
    • Support Strategic Business Initiatives through Contracting: Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their strategic needs and structure contractual arrangements that effectively support key projects, partnerships, and commercial goals.

Requirements

    • Legal professional with extensive experience.
    • Significant experience working across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in Europe, MENA, the Americas, and APAC.
    • Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to draft complex commercial agreements and review third-party contracts, identifying risks, ambiguities, and unfavorable terms.
    • Strong task-management abilities.
    • Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR).

Nice to have:

    • Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, fintech, or another compliance-heavy sector).
    • Experience leading or mentoring legal teams or junior colleagues.
