Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management and other departments on various business matters, including contracts, acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Lead and manage the legal department, including hiring, training, and evaluating legal staff.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including leases, development agreements, and other legal documents related to the company's operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to real estate, corporate governance, employment, and environmental matters.
Manage relationships with external legal advisors and oversee their work to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
Handle legal disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that could impact the company and advise management accordingly.
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure efficient operations.
Law degree, with a valid license to practice law in Slovakia.
A minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with significant experience in the real estate or corporate sector.
Strong knowledge of Slovakian legal regulations, particularly in real estate, corporate law, and commercial contracts.
Proven experience in leading and managing a legal team.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in Slovak and English, both written and spoken.
