YOU WILL VIBE WITH US:
The Legal Counsel will supervise and provide counsel and support to executive level, senior management and operations, in all legal and compliance matters that arise within the Company; and contribute to the improvement of a legal culture and awareness.
You will report to the CFO. You will work for Edenred Belgium, where you will work in close collaboration with operational teams. Your scope also covers Edenred Luxembourg’s activities.
Your missions will involve to:
Provide legal day-to-day and legal strategic advise related to allthe Company's activities.
Set-up and roll out procedures to improve legal awareness and compliancey (incl. provide training) and coordinate replies to external stakeholders.
Follow-up litigations.
Support corporate transactions and corporate housekeeping tasks;
Create and update contract templates for operations and assist with contract negociations.
Follow-up on public tenders.
Coordinate the internal risk committee.
Act as a point of contact for local regulators.
Monitor regulatory and compliance topics.

Commercial law (including consumer protection)
Corporate law

Compliance (AML, anti-corruption, whistleblowing, ethics,…)

WE WILL VIBE WITH YOU
You are graduated from a Master in Law
You have at least 10 years experience in a highly exposed position in general business law.
You have a generalist profile with a strong acumen for commercial law.
Experience in the field of payments, new technologies, or in a regulatory environment would be a plus.
You have a good understanding of business and company stakes and are pragmatic and solution oriented.
You have an interest in technological topics with knowledge of the context and issues related to Edenred’s business sector.
You have an interest in and are capable of understanding and working with other disciplines;
You are able to manage projects in collaboration with others, and to work in a very international environment with teams with very varied expertise and profiles.
You have excellent written and oral communication and coordination skills.
You are autonomous and responsive
You are able to identify and measure risks, prioritise actions, and make recommendations adapted to the context.
You are results oriented and able to facilitate corporate decision-making.
Languages required: Fluent in English, Dutch and French (written and oral)
