Purpose of this Role

We are seeking a Dutch and English speaking Junior Legal Counsel to help support enviolo’s legal function. In this role, you will contribute to aligning legal with our business strategy, protecting our value, and driving the company forward.

• Offering advice on legal and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Supporting product development and management teams with intellectual property matters.
• Managing corporate governance and overseeing the administration of key agreements and contracts.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, working closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Providing proactive, practical advice and finding solutions that align with business needs.
• Optimizing legal processes, supporting the administration of enviolo's IP portfolio, and ensuring legal compliance across various aspects of the business.

What we’re looking for: 

• You are fluent in Dutch and English and have elite verbal and written communication skills
• You have strong analytical skills and razor sharp attention to detail
• A strong ability and interest  in collecting, optimizing, structuring, analyzing and visualizing data and information 
• The ability to craft compelling stories that inspire
• You have an ease to connect and collaborate with people at all levels of an organization
• You are proactive and independent; you see opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, and you take them  
• You live in or close to Amsterdam and have the legal right to work in the EU (we prefer you to work at least 3 days per week from our HQ office location in Amsterdam).

Required and Desired Experience:

• You have a Dutch law degree or EU law degree.
• 2-4 years of experience in a legal role, either in-house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law and commercial contracting.
• Experience in Intellectual Property is a plus.
• Eagerness to provide proactive, practical advice.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in Dutch and English.
