Are you a qualified lawyer in your own country who passed the bar exam and wanting to utilize your legal knowledge in an international environment?

On behalf of a global technology company in Amsterdam, we are seeking a Legal Counsel due to a business expansion! 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Legal Counsel, you will be an integral part of our Legal team based in Amsterdam. Your primary responsibility will be managing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and customer agreements across the EMEA region. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment.

• Handle and negotiate commercial contracts, including Nondisclosure Agreements, Master Technology Usage Agreements, and Risk Start Agreements.
• Provide legal advice and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams in Amsterdam, as well as stakeholders at global HQ.
• Maintain and update company templates for legal agreements and documentation.
• Act as the primary legal contact for a diverse range of customers, addressing their legal queries and concerns.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A qualified lawyer who passed a bar exam is a must, preferably in a European Union jurisdiction.
• 2-4 years of work experience in a legal role, ideally in an international setting.
• Proven track record in contract negotiations and drafting.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication skills across functions and cultures.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Dedicated to delivering high-quality legal support.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

The way of working/Starting date:
The company policy is to be in the office at least 3 times a week. Also, this is a full-time position 40h/w and not available for part-time.
We aim to onboard this person in April 2025.
